Is there a good way to burn green brush?

We are clearing fence rows, well it is actually a old railroad right of way . and we want to burn all of it and try to get the land ready to plant come spring. we dug a huge hole, isnt working. we have heard about mounting a big bin drying fan mounted on the back of a tractor and injecting deisel into the fan and burning it that way but we havent tried it yet. Any Ideas???Is there a good way to burn green brush?
I would discuss your ideas and options with the local extension service. Depending on where you live, live fires may be extremely dangerous. The use of fuels is very toxic to the environment.

For brush, cut it and haul it (or safely burn it if allowed). Same with trees. It sounds like you are attempting to create a prescribed burn, which is very dangerous and should only be performed by experienced personnel. Is there a good way to burn green brush?
You'll have to dry the brush before trying to burn it or yank it out by hand if you cannot use herbicides in your area.
