I heard Bareminerals foundation doesn't show line colors with just a quick dusting. I usually use liquid though so I was wondering what brush/type I would need to purchase, specifically.

You need the 190 foundation brush. It's perfect for applying liquid foundation. I can't live without it! Or you could try the 187 duo fibre brush, which is good for buffing in both liquid and powder foundation.
