How do you hold the brush in Japanese calligraphy?

When writing traditional Japanese/Chinese symbols with ink, what is the correct way to hold the brush?

Does the Japanese hold differ from the Chinese one?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! How do you hold the brush in Japanese calligraphy?
IN UR HAND?????How do you hold the brush in Japanese calligraphy?
Hold it up %26amp; down like a straw! Not slant-y like a pencil~

And remember not to redo anything. Once a stroke has been made, don't try to enhance it in any way. Then you're doing it wrong :]

And no, Japanese %26amp; Chinese brushes don't differ because they are used to write the same characters. Japanese Kanji is just Chinese Characters.

Hope that helps =)
Ha - I found a video tutorial!
